Eric Schandelmeier is a painter and tattoo artist working in dark surreal and psychedelic traditions. Currently based in Phoenix, Eric grew up in Wisconsin and has lived and worked in Minnesota and Seattle, carrying influences from each place into his practice.

With 19 years of professional tattooing experience—and a painting practice that spans even longer—his work explores geometric, abstract, and surreal forms that blur the line between the scientific and the cerebral. His multidisciplinary approach includes oil painting, tattooing, drawing, linoleum block printing, and sculpture.

Eric’s work is immersive, meticulous, and deeply rooted in altered perception, making him a powerful addition to the collective.
