She/Her

Koren Walsh was born into a family of artists.

Her Mother was a fiber artist and painter. Her Father was a fiber and glass artist. and her Grandmother was a quilt maker, who spoke with the dead.

Her parents founded The Amana Artist Guild and Community Theater in lowa, and it was there that she began her studies in art, dance, theatre and writing. She has performed professionally as a singer, dancer and actress, and has been featured as a presenter and keynote speaker at multiple festivals and spiritual gatherings across the country. Her writings have been published by publications such as Fate Magazine, and In the Rooms, A Global Recovery Community.

She has a blog site called Jezebel Pride, where she writes about her art, her emotions and her exploration of spiritual mysteries.

Koren's artwork is rooted in her occult practice. From dissecting her Catholic upbringing to embracing her title as Witch, Koren sees her work as magical praxis. This allows her to find illumination in the darkest shadow, whispers of life within the bones of the dead, and unexpected joy within the deepest sorrows. Her work creates a vessel to hold what is sacred to those who seek answers in the world of the occult, and if it makes you feel a little uncomfortable, she knows she has succeeded in opening your eyes to something you once turned your head to avoid.

Koren works in clay, glass and stone, metal, fiber and bone to create intentional adornments for the body and magical tools for the altar.
